Step right up for a thrilling week of dance under the big top! Campers explore the magic and movement of the circus through creative choreography inspired by acrobats, jugglers, clowns, and ringmasters. Each day blends rhythm, balance, and expressive storytelling as dancers bring the excitement of the circus to life.
Daily activities include warm-up and technique classes, rehearsal time, and creative writing, visual art, and storytelling exercises to enhance self-expression through dance. The week culminates in a performance on the last day featuring instructor and student-generated choreography. Students are encouraged to bring ballet slippers or jazz shoes and wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement.
