Everyone can dance! In this camp designed for students of all levels, campers will study and perform using a variety of dance styles. Each week will have a unique theme that we will explore. Each day, campers will be guided through an authentic warm-up and technique class, a rehearsal process, and activities such as creative writing, visual art, and storytelling, as they explore how to express themselves through dance and movement. The week will culminate in a performance on the last day of camp that will feature instructor and student-generated choreography. Join us for all three sessions:
- Week 1: June 17- 21* – Dance Camp: Journey through Oz
- Week 3: July 1- 5* – Dance Camp: Wonderful World of Disney
- Week 4: July 8-12 – Dance Camp: Sock Hop to Hip-Hop
Students are encouraged to bring ballet slippers or jazz shoes to wear each day. Please come to camp wearing comfortable clothing you can move in.
