Everyone knows from TV and movies that crime scenes make a good mystery, but in this camp, campers will discover that crime scenes actually do provide lots of clues and information…. If they know how to collect and use the evidence. In order to do this, campers will use the tools used in the field to collect and examine the clues. They’ll conduct fingerprint, handwriting, fiber, simulated blood, and DNA analysis and learn the science behind these important practices. Throughout the week, campers will also learn how detectives and police use all of the evidence to solve the two-fold mystery: to clear the innocent as well as expose the guilty. This camp will keep campers asking questions and guessing throughout the week as they explore the exciting career of forensic science!
