In this 2-week performance camp, campers will explore the fundamentals of singing, dancing, acting, and creative drama while working towards an ensemble performance of Seussical KIDS. Featuring all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters, Seussical KIDS transports audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, as the Cat in the Hat, our narrator, tells the story of Horton, an elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Roles will be cast at the start of camp. This camp culminates in a performance in The Blair Family Center for the Arts theater for families and friends on the last day of the session. Each day of camp is treated as a rehearsal, so we ask all campers to practice singing, dancing, and memorizing lines at home.
